Be careful, tst your filter material: The nissan filter material at least sold here will turn into non air conducting pulp very soon if water gets in. Dont need much imagination to see how its sucked down the throat. Luckily I am not even an instant expert in this issue...

Overall I think youll get more, cheap horses as stock piping is widened. However, if u mean attachin a scoop through hood: the airspeed on hood never reaches over 15% of intake airspeed. So profit iwill be limited, surely there is some.
