the fact that the water is overheating and boiling up... tells me that you have a pressure leak of some kind in the system, because w/out pressure the water won't stay water, it will start to evaporate... i don't think its an air dam... i mean that might make it run kinda hot, but it couldn't make the water boil, because if the system is kept under pressure, the water can't boil. i think you have a pressure leak somewhere
