inew intake too loud
Hello,
On an impulse today, I bought and installed a short ram intake (ractive) on my 97 civic si. I didn't really know much about it but heard it would improve gas mileage and performance.
Anyhow, I find it too loud under heavy acceleration (loud noise starts at ~5000) and it seems like I've lost a little power in the lower rpms (gained in the higher rpms tho).
Is there a way to make it less loud and is it normal to lose a little power in the lower revs?
