They would be harder to tell the difference. I don't know of any obvious marks or changes that would show the differenc. No you can't use b series parts on a d series engine or vice versa. I've heard that venom makes good intakes but I know there are several others out there that are nice. If you need more fuel you need to upgrade the fuel injectors, fuel pump and filter, and maybe even the whole fuel rail depending on the application.
