Perfect beaters. I had a 93 Eclipse that loved to get beat on. If you want a lower maintenance engine get one with the 1.8. It is a power difference between the 2.0 DOHC and 1.8 SOHC but the 1.8 just wont die. Its non interferance so if the tbelt gives way the engine is safe.
