Thanks Linc97 I appreciate it!
Well, I ended up taking it into the Lincoln dealer this morning, because we have a roadtrip coming up in 2 weeks. Anyhow they found the pass. side front wheel bearing is bad and tie rod ends worn/in need of replacement, so he said those two things together is where the vibration is coming from. So the total est. on that is around $630. Phew!
So I'm not sure if replacing these parts myself is a smart thing. I've done these same parts on an 87 mustang of mine but obviously never on a Continental. Anyone ever done this themselves or am I asking for trouble?
