I went to autozone to get sparkplugs for my 99 alero w/ the 3.4 engine. The plugs that are listed are COLDER then what the owners manuel says. I told them of this mistake. When you have the #'s for thinks like this, use them, dont go by what they say. Dont buy paint from them as well, they said that there was only 2 colars for my red alero, i went to the dealership just to make sure they are correct, and they were NOT! The dealership said that if i would have put this on my car, it would have stuck out like a sour thumb. I guess, just watch what you buy there, and dubble check them, and compair products with what you want to replace, if possable, bring it in with you to compaire. Most of the people that work there, are not ase certified; these are some kids that work there that dont know names for things and dont know the difference between an air filter to a fuel filter. Just dubble check everything that you get from them.
