You can use any frying oil that is not a solid at room temp., and he does. There is no "set up" for cold weather, the fuel is fuel when you are done with the process. It doesn't freeze or clump or anything. No heater required.You only need a heater when running straight vegetable oil. So yeah, the hardest part is finding enough oil. Anyway nothing to get upset about. Sorry I tried to give you another point of view.
