it sounds as though you need to just get rid of the LED bulbs. they really aren't universal as they say. i know my SUV doesn't like them as i get about the same issue as you. it has to do with a relay (in my vehicle) not liking the output voltage so it closes that circuit--pulling the fuse just resets that circuit until power is applied via the brake pedal again.
