Hi Guys

Just a quick update, This project has been a real challenge, last time i tore the edge of the carbon while i was spraying the window surounds and since then its has gone downhill big time!! I tried to replace the affected area but had another disaster with the clear coat and masking tape so the whole carbon on the bonnet had to come off. Another sheet of carbon later i had bubbles after i sprayed the clear coat so off it goes again! Another attempt then another misserable failure. To sum it up on a nut shell i have replaced the carbon decal on the hood 3 times and counting! Maybe this car wasnt destined to have carbon bonnet

Anyway i thought i need to get a way and take a break on the bonnet and finish the rest of the chassis, leave the body for last.


Painted the engine and plastic panels on the chassis. I also scratchbuilt the exhaust to replicate the same HKS Super Dragger exhaust i have on my MR2.I cut the stock ehaust in half and used a combination of different size plastic sprue.I will put a polished aluminium tube for the exahaust tips.





Anyway ive gone this far and im determined to finish this project. More updates soon.Thanks again for the encouragement and feedback.
