Yes, it's a whole bunch of fun! I've attacked them with two pairs of needle nosed pliers. Get one on each side of that top grommet, twist, yank and pull
. The whole black plastic/rubber tube will eventually pull out of the plug tower. They stick to the sparkplugs from all the hot/cold cycles. Put a dab of silicone greas on the plug tops so the tubes will pull right out next time.
