i don't know why people compare vettes to 240s. thats probably the worst comparison out there. one has a v8, the other is a 4 banger. that fact right there puts both those cars in completely different classes. in terms of history, the vette owns. yeah, maybe chev is going a little cheaper with things in their newer cars, but the c6 is still a monstrosity of a car with balls under the hood. i dont think its logical to say they're worth shit. as for the 240, they stopped sales in north america cause nobody was buying the damn thing and nissan needed something to pump up sales (hence the 350z a few years later). wanna talk originality? if you've got a 240, you're original (until late july when that dreadful yet interesting movie will come out...). so now you put that all together and what do you get??

the corvetter owns cause it continues to sell and put bystanders and other drivers in awe when someone drives by in it. when people see a 240, well.... not so much.

both cars imo are great cars, they just can't be compared. and i wouldn't buy a corvette.

back on topic, the japanese are obviously gonna put the corvette in the ditch. its one of their main competitors
