Do you have so many things attached to your battery that the nut is barely threaded on? Is it all in a big wiring mess loaded with inline fuses? I did, and here's what I did about it. This baby sat in my toolbox for about 4 months, but it was a decent day today, so I wired it in.
I left my fog and driving lights attached directly to the battery, along with my amplifier wire, since those items require huge draw and are likely to all be on at the same time. Then, I ran a short 10 guage power lead off the battery to the fuse block. This way I still had 4 things wired directly to the battery, but that's 3 less than I had. I ran my backup lights, rear foglight, air horns, and trailer charging line into the new fuse block.
Anyhow, I think this was a worthwhile addition to clean up some of the wiring mess. I think that's the last thing I will be able to attach to the bracket around the power steering reservoir though!
