I was going to say that after the late 90's the true spirit of the European sportscar was dead (ecepting perhaps some exotics), as everything from then on was just another soulless lookalike 'luxury performance coupe/sedan', and nothing was really worth making a model of. But I expect evo8owner's answer is probably the more accurate one. Remember, this was the era that even the 'distinctive sound of Harley Davidson motorcycles' was copywritten and licensed. There's not sufficient profit margin in plastic kits to justify the licensing fee, and the copywrite holders don't give a damn if no plastic kits are made of their car, especially when diecast manufacturers are willing to pay the tributes.
