Dude stay away from the chick cuz chances are after she confronts the father of her child he'll probably bug out(sooner or later) and then she'll most likely come back to you for her own survival. Don't let it happen or her use you like that. I wouldn't even talk with her again unless the baby by some slim chance turns out to be yours.
As far as your friend has there been any type of progress with his health?
Hope all works out in the end with him. I can relate with this one. I had a friend just got his license(this is bout 6yrs back) we were tight ya know. If anyone fucked with him they would fuck with me and vice versa. Well the 2nd day of having his license a drunk driver ran a red light and t-boned the drivers side of his car. Dude was going so fast it killed my boy instantly(doc said that) Driver got 2yrs jail plus probation. the night i found out i was at a party and had a half bottle of tequila right before they told me. I was a wreck for a long time.
