My 93 did this on and off for over a year.
Finally left me stuck in traffic and a hefty $70 tow bill to go three blocks. It started shortly thereafter... I had two rebuilt distributors in it before I finally got peeved and rebuilt it myself..New ECM and pick-up coil. It's been fine ever since...
