well lets see if i can help, first off there are two hoses that u have to disconnect from the engine, one is from the valve's, the other i don't know where it's form but it's on the top right side of the intake box, first off, unscrew the clamp connecting the hose to the throttle body, loosen it, but don't take it off, there should be a cable/hose that has a little hook onto the stock intake, take that off first, now u can move the stock intake, next there are about 4 clasps on the air box that you need to unclasp, once done, u can move it around freely, it's snug in there, so wiggle it a bit and pull hard and the hose and box cover for the intake should come of easily, this will give you enough room to put your short ram in, if u want the rest of the airbox out, there are a few screws that you should see, if not, just pull really hard , and make sure that you pull down your mudflap on the underside, to see if there are ne screws that you have to undo, thats about it, it's a quick 5 minute install with the short ram, hopefully i helped ya, and i'm pretty sure it'll be the same way as my 92 lude was configured, happy hunting to ya
