OH F***!!!
I was just thinking this kit would have to be one of the most challenging projects that I've ever had to do. Since day one there were fit problems,paint problems and pure bad luck... Well its happened again I've just finished airbrushing the window trim, I was starting to peel off the mask and I noticed that during this process it caught the edge of the decal and tore the edge of it. I clearcoated the whole car and didnt think that something like this would happen.I can only guess that when i was cutting the mask around the window surround it manage to crack the clear coat therefore lifting the carbon when i peeled away the mask.

Any suggestions on how to rectify this problem? I was thinking of just laying a small square of carbon in the affected corner, line up the weave then mask and clear coat the whole hood again. If any one has any other ideas let me know.



On the positive side the interior is now finished,im pretty happy with the carbon and red combination.Seats were given a dark red wash as well as using a fine line gundam pen to pick out the creases on the seat. I also added a pair of white TRD logos on the headrest just to add a little bit of extra detail.





Despite of the problems i guess ill keep working on other parts of the car,hopefully fix the hood problem and get this baby finished.Any feedback,suggestions greatly appreciated.
