Pet often referred to when looking for lost parts, these animals (often mammals) have a natural urge to find and ingurgitate them. Pet's are a modeler's best friend.

Fumes Modeler's real reason to be painting. Fumes give modeler's what they call "a buzz". May cause heavy dependency.

Hands Often mistaken for cutting mats. A modeler can be recognised by so called "modeler's hands"

Modeler's hands Beginning modeler's hands have most of their digits still hanging. Average modelers suffer from permanent marks of irreversable paint incidents. The solution is using a metal brush on these to get rid of any unwanted pigmentation. Also, modeler's hands can be diagnosed by deep cuts in the thumb-area, causing spontaneous bleeds.

Box Hogging Term originated from psychology. Can be mistaken for obsessive compulsive purchasing. Is in fact obsessive compulsive purchasing. Modelers from all grades tend to buy more then they can consume. Close related to Binge shopping.

Local Hobby Shop, or LHS Providers, dealers of the modeler. These dealers are often consulted to get rid of Obsessive compulsive purchasing (see box hogging), with the opposite result.

Panel lines recurring problems with molding process. Average builders get around those by spraying an amount of paint over these, thus covering these mistakes in the original kit.

Weathering Technique used to cover up flaws in past modeling steps.

Build plan or instructions Inside joke that keeps coming back in every manufacturer's boxes. These are used to mislead builders. Often neglected by above-average users and used as cutting mat or paint-mixing apparel.
