Nice review of the kit, I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

I'm currently building this car using the Hasegawa kit. Hasegawa included a thin tan leather sheet. It's precut for carpets and interior accents. It looks like Revell left this piece out.

I sanded all of that texture off of the sides, I didn't think it would look good in scale, and will be a problem area during polishing for sure. I also sanded off that raised area in front of the rear wheel opening. As far as I can tell from pictures that the only thing there on the real car is a clear piece of film to protect the paint. There's not really a raised area, It's way out of scale for a thin piece of film, so off it went.
The headlights fit odd, So I glued mine in the closed position, filled around them, and rescribed the panel lines. I have the body/chassis in primer, and will spray it very soon. Mine will be pearl white.
