Re: Throtle Body Spacer help

Thanks for your help! My dads being a pain-in-the-ass.. He tells me all the stories about how he broke 3 inch driveshafts with his 57 corvette but won't let me touch the truck.. So I was running blind on my truck. I was able to get the TBS in after removing the fuel line bracket from the top of the transmission housing. It was a real blast [heh], but I learned a good amount about what things are and where they run/how to take them off. The truck sounds awesome with the new TBS on.. It really sounds like an oversized supercharger.. The intake was really a joke to put on.. Once I was able to look at it without my dad haunting me I saw that it was just attatched to the heat shield. It was honestly a joke to put on..Tomorrow, I'm going to jack it up a few inches and see what gear ratio is in there now to try and fix a speedo problem I've been having. I'm also going to start working on removing the rusted out exhaust system. I thought the truck was loud because it has a 350, but it turns out there's just two big holes in the muffler. I'm hoping that goes fairly easy.. which it should. If I do have my problems with preheater hose, I'll just deal with it until I get a new elec. fan. That should help it warm up a little. Thanks for your help and encouragement!
