I would love to put a L480 in my GTO, but I worrie about how well they can be built, I want it to ba able to handle 1,000hp and the TQ to match, I will pay 3 grand for it, but i'm not sure if they can do that.

Seems you have done your own trans work, most I have done is a B&M stage 2 and 3. I did sit down with a TH400 book, a while back, at the time it seemed that Mr. Spock would have to had helped me, but I want to try to do a TH400 in the future.

What tools other then basic tools do you need?
