Hello

First off welcome to Auto Forums! I've enjoyed reading and helping and being helped by others. I hope we can be as helpful to you.

Now..to your problem...

What is the condition of your rear tires? Do you have any cupping going on? That can make a really noisy ride. I'm not sure if appling the brakes would change this but it's a place to start. How about rear bearings?

How old are your rear struts? If they have over 60,000 on them I would replace them. Their job is to hold the tire on the road and to keep it from bouncing. Have you ever noticed a vehical on the road with one tire just a hopping? The strut on that side is shot.

This is just a hunch.

Regards

Dan
