All I had to do was go in before the judge when called and say "yes your honor" when he asked if I agree with what my attorney said. This time I don't have that friend to help and I need to go it alone but I am clueless about what to do.

I received a ticket for "S 75 SS3112 SSA3I FAILED TO STOP FOR STEADY RED SIGNAL". I've signed the ticket and pleaded not guilty, and sent in the required collateral. My court date is Feb 1. What do I need to do next? My hope is to plea the offense down to an offense that does not end with points on my license. The currently listed offense has 3 points associated in the state of PA. Do I need to do anything prior to the court date? If so, what? What exaclty is the plea I'm looking for, who do I talk to and when, and how do I go about doing that?

Thanks in advance for all the advice.
after going to court, see if the officer that cited you is present, if not plead not guilty, the officer has to be there to testify, if he is there then talk to the DA and ask for a non-point violation, if pled No- contest or guilty. usually they make a deal because it's not worth there time and money for a simple Traffic ticket., IE. officers Overtime, court time, ETC.
If the office is present and you want time.. plead not guilty, need time to find an attorney. this will buy you some time, and maybe the officer wont show up the second time..
