Well if the mounts are pretty far gone, It just might tear stuff up. BUt if you hav been driving it for a long time the chances of things breaking increases.
Were you going to do the shocks your self or was the shop going to do those too? Because if they do the mounts, they'll hav to loosen the rusted shock bolts to install the new mounts above them. So the shocks should come off easily for ya, just though you could save your self a few dollar$.
If you hav to wait 1-2 weeks just take it slow and easy over bumps to minumise the damage.
