I am looking at getting a basket case 1964 VW 1600S Squareback. That is all I know. Can somebody tell me if it is "special" or give me any insight at all? I was thinking it would be cool to do a performance motor/suspension combo and make a fun little commuter car out of her. Is that possible? Who sells performance suspension and engine stuff? Any info is welcome at this point. Thanks!
