For a dealer to reprogram it is illegal. 
For a private owner of a vehicle it may or may not be according to your local state laws. It is not illegal for an owner to modify his engine parts or to tune it within legal local and state limits.
Educate yourself on what the federal, state and local laws are and then you can do as you feel necassary. Racing is legal, espesially on the track. For me to say racing is legal is not totally true nor is the statement PCM programming is illegal is not totally true either.....  |
