sounds like you got a nice truck. I wouldent worry much about not getting the better part of 200,000 mi out of it.
even if it developes piston slap, this is said to not harm any thing
Ive also heard that the next heavier weight oil will silence this.
the steering clunk I guess is bad berings, has been since 99, so maybe they have remedeid this by 06, although my 04 has it now
but Im sure you will enjoy the truck for many miles
