Beat father and son, funny story
I was at the track last night (check my new best time in sig) and I saw this green and yellow eclipse rolling around. After i'd made a couple of runs one of the eclipse driver's friends came over to see if i'd race him, I asked if it was a turbo, they said no so I agreed. We lined up and I smoked the shit out of him, no contest, probably had him by a second. I parked off in the grass to see what he had and I saw an older guy telling him to get back in his car so they could run. The kid in the eclipse didn't want to so I asked the older guy what he was running, he pointed to a '90 305 Camaro, I told him i'd run him. He said he wanted to run his son's eclipse and that he hadn't paid 12 bucks for nothing so what the hell, he agreed to run me. I had a reason to want to run him, one of my co-workers drive's the same car essentially and I wanted to know if I could beat him or not. Me and the kids dad lined up and I waxed his ass, I beat him as bad if not worse than I beat the Eclipse. My 60' times are down to consistent 2.2's on street tires, occasional 2.1's so i've been beating a lot of people off the line including a WRX and a b16 5th gen civic with slicks. I'm pretty much done drag racing 'till I get my turbo on, it's funny how quick a basically stock CRX can be with a good driver and good preperation.
