I just put my new speakers in the front doors(02 cavalier), and found an easy way to get the clip back on the window handle. All I did was put the clip on most of the way when I still had the handle off, and then push the handle back on. Since the rod that the handle goes on is tapered, the clip just snaps back into place.
For the removal I took a small eye glasses screwdriver and bent it in two spots with a pair of plyers. It works great!
