Well my buddy owns a 99 Vette M6 Hardtop. His only mods so far are catback and some form of cold air intake (Funny I don't remember it, cause it was a bitch for me to install). Anyways, he always talks all this jibberish about my car being a POS poor man's sports car, and I in turn call his car a girls car
I'm following him to his apartment, knowing that he will get on it. Being the cool chap he is, he of course just guns it without letting me know that he is gonna take off (No honk, nothing). I'm trying to follow him on the 210 freeway going merging onto the 2. I downshift to 3rd, punch it, start reeling him in, hit 4th, and then, OH SHIT, corner. His Z51 suspension is just grabbing, whilst my car shows it's true pony car roots, by slightly skidding and doing excessive body roll. I let off the gas somewhat, and he just keeps in it, thereby putting several buslengths on me (Note: Work on suspension Bobby).
Now I follow him on down the 134 to Forest Lawn. He does yet another ricer flyby, but luckily I was in second. I mash the gas, and just barely start to reel him in, but he still has 2-3 cars on me from the headstart. I hit the top of second, and go for 3rd, then he gets his just rewards for being a cheeser. He misshifts the 2-3 shift BADLY
I immediately pull 3 car lengths on him, despite him finally finding the gear. He doesn't wanna try to catch up, as his car is down on power versus mine, and now I have the advantage (Note: That's what he gets for cheating repeatedly).
All in all I was surprised how quick his car is, cause i've spanked other LS1's that had similar mods quite badly. I'd say it was a mid 13 sec. car at Speedway easily. Definitely hits corners better then my car.
