What rubs? The tire? Where does it rub?
The OEM shocks are shot in about 15,000 miles. They're crap, which is why you see so many people raving about the ride improvement after getting Bilsteins. You could measure your frame height on level ground from the lower control arm pivot bolt to the ground to check if the t-bars are out of adjustment. There's a more precise way, but it should be fine for what you're looking for. T-bars control ride height not shocks. There are lots of installation tips here. I have an old how-to on my web site

I doubt you'll want anything other than the stock replacement Bilsteins unless you offroad.
