So while I was waiting for my friend to finish installing my exhaust on my mustang I decided to take out our CRX equipped with a b18, t3/t04 turbo, and a 50 shot. After driving around for a while looking for races I see the local "car club". I drive up to the parking lot and a get a few unwelcoming glares from the people standing by their cars. I ask the people there if to be racing tonight (theres a long strip of road where nobody goes where everybody races at on friday nights). A guy comes up to me and inform me that his friend wants to race me. He also informed me that it would be a waste of my time since his friend drives an SRT-4. I tell him that I am still interested in racing the guy. He goes over and tells his friend. They go around telling everybody that somebody from their club has "been challenged". So I'm there for a little while and we all finally agree to go out to the "quartermile". There are about 10 cars pulled off to each side of the road to watch. So I get in the right lane and the SRT-4 pulls off to the other side of me.

Before the race begins he gives his engine a pretty loud rev and gets the attention of everybody standing around. "Smoke his ass Chuck" some idiot yells out from the side. I decide to return his rev with a rev of my own as well as a whistle from my BOV, to wash this all down I give him a little sip of N20 from a purge valve localted in my front fenders. A guy gets in between us and asks us if we're ready. We both nod and the guy steps forward to give the signal. As the guy drops his hands we both take off.

To summarize the rest of the story:

After that I had him buy about 7 car lengths at the end of the quartermile.
