A spark or other electrical discharge near the distributor can cause a false trigger inside the distributor. Did you get any silicone in a tube with those wires? If so, it needs to be used. Just squeeze a small portion into the wire boot and snap it back on. If this doesn't remedy the problem, I would suspect a faulty coil..
