I don't have the car anymore and don't remember what the code was exactly...but it was something about the "pintel (sp?) valve" being out of sync or not matching.

I went to a car site and asked a question about it and a GM mechanic said that he thought that that meant that the EGR valve was bad.

Essentially I think it was sticking and got out of sync occasionally with the throttle. Teh car would then stall.

I replaced the valve...pretty cheap, like $35 I think...you have to buy a gasket seperate though, doesn't come with the valve. Why, I don't know.

That info came out of my scanner...auto x-ray scanner...OBD1 system I think) for a 94 Regal.

Buy an EGR valve, they're pretty cheap and take about 10-20 minutes to install on a 3.8 liter.
