I'm gonna check it out. yah, I notice that some of the cooler dealers (especially out in LA area) notes on the inpection check list after an oil change how much pad is left...like 50% or 25% ,etc. these people in the midwest don't do it... wonder why??? thought it would be like a simple as reading the remainding pad on a window like how you mentioned....
