I bought my truck and the aluminin nerfs were already on there.I like the looks of them and they provide something to kick the snow off of your shoes.If you are going to buy a set,get stainless or aluminim.The chrome or painted ones are a joke and will rust through in a couple of years.Also mud flaps are a good investment and do help with lower protection.Just remember when you put flaps on,keep them even or stick out a little with the outside of your tire.Also make sure they hang down abit.Most people over look this and say they don't work.
