Re: Exhaust Noise

Alright, from personal experience large mufflers, especially.. the cheap ones.. have a funny sound on this car. When I bought my car, the previous owner had a "Custom" exhaust on it.. sounded absolutely terrible..... I replace all the piping to 2.5 inch and put a good quality DC Sport canister muffler... they surprisingly look good on this car. They sound better... still get a little bit of droning.. but nothing close to before. It was also suggested to me to add a second resonator...

My question is, does anyone have any ideas/experience about how I can stop the drone short of changing the muffler? I have lined the trunk with sound deading stuff, the kind availible at stereo shops and it helped a bit but not all that much. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
