Not sure about the price, anything in that price range is out of mine.
If it's a 3.0L V6, check the oil pan gasket at the front seal. They're known to 'work' themselves out and cause an oil leak. If it's from a business, it's critical that you check this. They will hose you.
If it's a 4.0L SOHC, some of these engines are known to have a rattle somewhere in the timing chain assembly. There's a TSB about it now. Some people that have had them fixed state the rattle comes back, but have had no negative effects from it.
Overall, they're good trucks.
