Ok, I have a couple tips for you.
1.) Completely flush out the overflow tank, the stuff coming out of mine was absolute brown snot. It was really alarming what was in it. This was residue left over from when the stock rad cap was on.
2.) Use Dexcool again, no need to change.
3.) I used two bottles of system flush. Clean once, rinse, clean again, rinse,,,then rinse the system out completely until only clear water comes out and then dump the rad water and start filling it with straight coolant and the system will fix the coolant for you.
Be patient and allow the thermostat to open so the cleaning works well.
4.) Replace the rad cap with a Stant, get rid of the stock AC Delco junk.
5.) Be patient, it took me over 2 hours to flush my system out. when you include all the flushing and rinsing.
6.) Go to the dealer and buy two of the GM cooling system sealer tabs and add it to the rad when you are refilling it with straight coolant. The tabs will have to be crushed and you add the fine poweder to your coolant to seal any small leaks in your gaskets. Worked great for mine.
Any other problems, just knock and we will help you.
