The low idling you mentioned in first post may be related to the dying. The Idle Speed Actuator is a known failure item on these vehicles. Did the vehicle run OK after it warmed up some? If it did, the idle speedactuator can be cleaned. If it dies every time you stop, cold or warm, replace the ISC.
