Can't be the hubcaps because I haven't put them back on the front
wheels yet.....

These are just purchased wheels just for the snow tires.
I hope the wrecking yard I bought them at didn't sell me an "off"
size wheel, too!

I'm wondering if just the slightest "nub" on the outer portion of the
rotor might be slapping one of the disk pads. (?)

I thought maybe I should take my rotary grinder and just barely
grind off the very outer portion of the rotor where the disks ride
in place of having essentially new rotors turned. A waste of good rotor
metal to have them turned. They don't brake with any shaking, so they
are not unevenly worn as can happen.

It MUST be something striking the wheel.

If I weren't a chicken sh*t, I'd jack up the front end, take off both
wheels, put it in gear and go listen to the turning rotors....w/o
wheels on it ! Scares me though.

WHEELS or ROTORS....(?)
