SEM makes a good vinyl paint. We use it a lot to paint video housings at the shop, and it comes in plenty of different color choices. I'd check around to any body shop supply stores in your area to find it. Be careful when you paint, though, and don't go overboard. I've seen many a potentially cool paint job gone terribly wrong because the person painted every little thing they could get their hands on. :P
