I replaced my Chevelle hinge pin and rollers this year. The doors did come off, as they were being sanded and painted too. I think with careful planning and support you can do a hinge at a time without removing the door. That's a good link that mdcamaro provided. I wish I knew about that tool back then. To replace the roller I hacksawed it off and bought the replacement kit rollers from the Paddock. They worked good. Maybe there was an easier way than what I did, but the end result was OK.
