Because your telling this guy to build a low compression supercharged motor instead of a turbo motor. What benefits from going this route? Youll now lose horsepower, boatloads of torque, power under the curve, and most importantly, reliability. The Vorcrap is absolute trash. 100% failure rate. Its a loss in every aspect.
The Vortech can be fixed to make reliable, but out the door its more expensive than the ADC kit. Theres nothing wrong with that if you want a dyno queen and a dog until about 4,000 rpms. You want the guy to have a fun daily driver, and imho its a bad suggestion when the turbo kit is a better option. Read the complaints from the people from contour.org that have the Vortech. Its all there. Im not trying to tell him off, Im just posting hard facts and why my opinion is completely different.
