Intresting. An uneducated, unsubstantiated opinion is more important than showing you know what you're talking about, or have reasonable levels of experience and insight. See, the reason you dont want to state the reasoning behind the opinion, and instead complain about the right to state the opinion, is that you know the reasoning is bullshit, and based on ignorance and intolerance. And even someone like you knows that those aren't valuable goals. Since those postions are indefensable, you resort to defending HAVING an opinion instead.
Just stating a hateful opinion doesn't absolve you of knowing what you're talking about, nor does it mean that no one can give an opinion of you in return. In fact, you said he's entitled to his opinion, but you want to complain about his stating his opinion just the same...
