Note steps d-f. If those are not attached properly like S777 said, then it might cause problems. Just pop the hood yourself and check those sensors/tubes going into the V2. If you have a set of instructions that came with the V2, then I would go with those. Just look at the steps that correspond to the connections like in the link above and if you don't see any problems, then it has to be something else.

Good luck. Let us know what the problem was if you find out.

Also, one thing I forgot to mention was that the intake should give you better results in the cold weather.
