problems with honda accord... please help
Ok guys. I know this is the civic forum but You are the smartest guys here. I just bouth a 92 accord lx automatic with 178k on it. Let me know what you guys this is the problem.
1. when i shift it into park when the car is still on I cant get it out of park unless i turn the car off and back on again.
2. This car is shifting erratically it jumps in and out of gear all the time while driving at the same speed. sometimes if i put it into neutral and then back into d4 it helps but just momentarily.
3. no matter what gear i have it in it always shows a green light over d4 and a red light over whatever other gear i put it it. Also, sometimes while in d4 the light will flicker off and on.
4. as for the drivability, these symptoms only occur after driving the car for at least 5 minutes.
Please tell me if i need a new tranny or sensors or tranny computer.
