If your going to paint it yourself 1 gallon of primer, 2 quarts of paint and 2 quarts of clear.
And you won't be happy with the final results.
You shouldn't use the full gallon of primer but it's probably cheaper to buy the full thing since you could easily use 3 quarts.
If you switch colors you really should paint the door jams and under the hood to match.
I've painted a few cars, and I won't touch pearls. They are for the pros only.
A pro will only probably only use 1 quart of paint, and clear, but they know how to use a paint gun.
What I would recomend is do the body work yourself, and even the primer.
But let the pro's do what they do best.
