Maybe your timing is too far advanced. Just loosen the distributor bolts, start the car and rotate the distributor toward the front of the car to retard the timing. Obviously using a timing light would be the most effective way, but I took my time, a few changes to retard my timing back and now it's perfect. Then again since you're bogging on low end, maybe your timing is too far retarded. Remember towards back of car is advance and toward front is retard.
